What Is It Used For?
Propecia is used for the treatment of male pattern hair on the
vertex and the middle front of the head. It is a treatment for
men only and is strictly prohibited for women and children.
How Is It Used?
Propecia is available as tablets to be taken once in a day. It
can be taken with or without food. Follow the directions prescribed
by your doctor, do not take more or less of it or take it more
often than prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking the dose
even if you start feeling better. You may need to take PROPECIA
daily for 3 months or more before you see a benefit from taking
PROPECIA. If PROPECIA has not worked for you within 12 months,
further treatment is unlikely to be of benefit. Do not stop taking
Propecia without consulting your doctor.
Are There Possible Side Effects?
Propecia can cause hazardous effects like difficulty in breathing;
closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, face or hives.
Seek immediate medical attention if you face any such problem.
Some other common side effects of Propecia, which generally resolve
with continues treatment are-decreased sex drive, decreased volume
of ejaculate, erectile dysfunction or tenderness or enlargement.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Consult
your doctor if you face any such side effect.

Propecia is an FDA approved pill for the treatment of male pattern
hair loss. The effectiveness of PROPECIA was has been tested and
demonstrated in studies of men, aged 18 to 41, with mild to moderate
hair loss at the top and middle front of the head. Propecia is
only for man and women and children should not use it.

What If I Miss A Dose?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember but if you do not
remember it till the next day, skip the dose and take the next
scheduled dose. Do not take two doses of Propecia at a time.
How Should It Be Stored?
Store Propecia in a tightly closed container, away from moisture
at a room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees
C)

Propecia is in the FDA pregnancy category X. This means that it
is known to cause birth defects in an unborn baby therefore women
who are pregnant or are expecting pregnancy should not handle
crushed or broken PROPECIA tablets because the active ingredient
may cause abnormalities of a male baby's sex organs. If such a
situation arises immediately consult your doctor. For safety purpose
Propecia tablets have been coated, so that the chances of active
contact can remain minimal, provided that the tablets are not
broken or crushed.
