What Is It Used For?
Nizoral is used for the treatment of systemic fungal infections
or for other conditions as suggested by your physician. It should
not be used for fungal meningitis.
How Is It Used?
Use Nizoral as per your doctor's advice, Take one dose of Nizoral
daily, it may be taken with a meal or snack to alleviate stomach
upset. The drug may take from several days to several months to
complete treatment. This depends upon the type and location of
the infection. Do not stop taking Nizoral even if you start feeling
better, complete the prescribed dose. Consult your doctor before
leaving the medication.
Are There Possible Side Effects?
The use of Nizoral can cause common side effects like fever and
chills; skin rash or itching; dark or amber urine; fever and sore
throat; loss of appetite; pale stools; reddening. If any such
problem occurs contact your doctor immediately.

the scheduled dose 12 hours apart, then resume your usual dosing
schedule.

and moisture. Do not keep the medicine in bathroom. Keep Nizoral
out of children's reach.

any drug allergies. Do not consume alcoholic beverages while taking
